Tickets Now Available - Pancakes & Performances
The event will take place on Saturday, May 6th from 8:00am – 12:00pm, in the Kastner Intermediate MPR. As always, the morning will be full of great performances and a delicious breakfast of pancakes and sausage. We will also hold drawings for fabulous prizes!
Students are asked to sell 10 event tickets, which are being distributed this week. Students selling event tickets and returning the funds to the band room mailbox by Thursday, May 4, will receive $4 of trip credit for each ticket sold. Tickets are $10 each if purchased from students. Tickets will also be available at the door for $12.
The Live schedule for the event is available to view by following this link. Times are approximate, but this will give you a good idea of when specific students and ensembles will perform.
We are also in need of several volunteers for this event. Please check out the above schedule, and if you’re available, sign up to help out for one of our shifts. Volunteers are essential for this event to run successfully. Please sign up for a volunteer spot here.
Disneyland Trip June 10
Disneyland Trip Payments were due Friday 4/14. If you intend to use trip credit and haven’t had that transferred over yet, please contact us to make that happen. If you have not yet done so, please submit your payment if your student is assigned to the trip. Please submit cash or check payments with a clearly marked envelope detailing the student name, what is enclosed, and what it is for (Disneyland). Payments and trip credits can also be accessed through your student charms ledger. We will be contacting those from who we have not yet received payment soon, and potentially moving waitlist students on to the trip. We will also be confirming chaperones in the next couple weeks.
If you are interested in going on this trip, did not register, and want to be added to the waitlist, contact Mr. Chesi. If you had troubles with charms try again - there have been some adjustments this week, and If you have any other questions or need assistance don’t hesitate to contact a director.
Chocolate Bar Fundraiser Still Active!
There are still multiple chocolate bar boxes available to check out and sell! Each box can be sold for $60 ($1 per chocolate bar). For each box sold, $15 will be allocated toward trip credit. This is a great way to build trip credit for Disneyland trip payments or upcoming travel in the 2023-2024 school year.
Marching Band Summer Rehearsals
We are eagerly looking forward to our Fall 2023 Marching Band Season. In preparation for the upcoming year, we are asking all marching band participants to attend summer rehearsals prior to full band camp August 7-11. Winds are meeting on June 13-15 and July 5-7. Guard will meet June 26-27, July 13-14 and August 4. Percussion dates still TBD but will be communicated soon. Please mark your calendars for those days.
