CW Fundraising Update

Coupon Book Sales Ended September 25
Coupon Book Sales are over. Please return all money collected and any unsold books. Return money for sold books to the bandroom mailbox in an envelope marked “Coupon” with your student’s name. Unsold books must be returned in person at marching band practice; money may be returned at marching band practice as well.

Lamonica Day

Parents and families, please join us next Saturday evening, September 26th at Lamonica stadium for our annual Lamonica Day. Students will be rehearsing during the day, and will break for dinner at 5:00 PM. After this break our students will debut their new uniforms first in rehearsal and finally, in an exhibition performance to close out the night. Please join us and experience our premier performance of the 2015 show!

Music students out-perform non-music students on achievement tests in reading and math. Skills such as reading, anticipating, memory, listening, forecasting, recall, and concentration are developed in musical performance, and these skills are valuable to students in math, reading, and science.
